Op zaterdag 22 april zal tijdens RSD om 15:00 uur Edgar’s Hair bij ons een optreden verzorgen.

“The members of I$I$, Oak and Rumbone, found each other in Edgar’s Hair and the magic happened …. 
Edgar’s Hair is producing tripping, spherical and organic growing rocking sound-pieces like Soft Machine and King Crimson could. Also the legendary Chameleons from the eighties or instrumentalists Kong, Mogwai and Sigur Ross can be recognized in their sound.

This sound can be also described as nice soundscapes of guitarplayer/singer Hans Brussee and bassplayer Leo Zwaan all of this is held together by the sharp-edged drumsound of Leon van der Leer. The sound of the famous MoogTaurus has an important place in the music of Edgar’s Hair. The trio from Leiden / Rotterdam / Czech does live shows with an videoperformance and light’s: Heidi Hornáčková & Šimon Macek Novotný . Op zaterdag 22 april tijdens RSD zal om 16:30 uur Queen’s Pleasure een optreden verzorgen!

“Queen’s Pleasure is an impertinent semi-psychedelic classic four piece garagerock outfit, based in Amsterdam. Driven by a brutal and poetic desire for love, Queen’s Pleasure sounds like a mix of Dandy Warhols and Blur, with the power of The Ramones and the melancholy of The Smiths. A veritable ‘Wall of Sound’ delivered with an energy you can expect from a group in their late teens. Ladies and gentlemen, the play has begun”.

Zoals beloofd hebben we groot nieuws te melden over RSD 2023! Op 22 april zal vanaf 17:30 uur Floor Jansen , de ambassadeur van vorig jaar, speciaal uit Zweden overvliegen. Zij bezoekt dit jaar alsnog onze winkel voor een meet & greet!
